Quick Medical History

I just had a LONG post going into lots of detail and then lost it :(. In stead of trying to retype everything at almost 1am I'm just going to give a list of obstacles we have faced since beginning to TTC. I'll go into detail at a later date. These are all things that have affected our fertility and led us to IVF.

Me:

• Cervical cancer which resulted in having a lapraroscopic radical trachelectomy (I have NO cervix but my uterus and tubes are totally in tact)
• Ureter Re-implantation (complication from the cancer surgery) - this has nothing to do with fertility but because of this surgery I have a lot of scar tissue and coupled with the above surgery makes my insides very different than most women and also complicates things even more when it comes to doing any type of procedure in the pelvic area.  
• Pituitary Adnoma - Elevated Prolactin levels
• Blood clotting disorder - this was discovered during the blood tests that were done for the first IVF
• After the 1st IVF I developed some fluid in the pelvic area around my uterus. After doing some research it seems that this was a side effect of all the hormones, unfortunately due to my previous surgeries none of my doctors (I have a list of specialists for all my various medical issues) want to go in and explore what it is because it can be too dangerous. At the time the fluid was discovered there was no real worry unless it became infected. In January of 2010 it did which means that it definitely cannot be drained now because going in can put me at an even higher rise of infection recurrence so I will be watched even more closely than normal and put on antibiotics before and after retrieval.

Husband:

• Low sperm count, motility and morphology
• Varicocele - count increased but motility and morphology remained about the same
• Hubby also had mono the hear after his surgery which really put a damper on everything because it affected his fertility with all the fevers and being very sick for 3 months

I think that covers about everything, at lease what I can remember at the moment. I'll update this if I remember more details and I will elaborate with a back story at a later date.

Doctors I need to notify the minute I become pregnant; (in no particular order)

• Perinatalologist
• OB/GYN (this is more or just an FYI because I am too high risk for her to treat me, I have to see the perinatalogist from day 1)
• Gyn Oncologist
• Urologist Oncologist
• Sleep Disorder Specialist
• Endocrinologist
